Executives from Pandora presented El Fantasma with the plaque at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena
Latin Grammy nominee and global phenomenon El Fantasma was awarded with the Pandora Billionaire Plaque, celebrating over one billion streams on the streaming service.
El Fantasma was surprised during his performance at Dia De La Banda festival in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena where Marcos Juarez, Pandora’s Director of Latin Programming presented the artist with the plaque on stage.
About the honor, El Fantasma notes: “I’m thrilled to receive this plaque and reach this milestone, WOW, one billion it’s a big number. I want to thank Pandora and all my fans for supporting my music, it feels great to have this plaque in my hands”.
El Fantasma, who is currently signed to the renowned independent regional Mexican music label AfinArte Music, is an undeniable worldwide sensation and is one of the most influential artists in his genre today. The last few years have seen him fulfill seemingly endless achievements, including the gathering of an adoring fan base of over 10 million followers on social media platforms and packing venues throughout the United States, Mexico, and South America.
El Fantasma’s compelling music videos have garnered more than 2 billion views, and he has consistently reigned at the top of Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay charts with irresistible #1 hits such as “Soy Bueno Amigo,” “Encantadora,” “El Circo,” “Guárdame Esta Noche,” “Palabra de Hombre,” “Mi 45,” “Dolor y Amor” and “El Corrido Del Nano,” which have resonated with countless listeners around the world.
