EW reveló un primer vistazo a John Wesley Shipp como Jay Garrick/The Flash de Tierra 2 en el capítulo Summer School: Chapter Nine para la segunda temporada de Stargirl. Este episodio donde aparecerá John Wesley Shipp se transmitirá el 5 de octubre en The CW, y será un flashback que mostrará al grupo de superhéroes que compone la Sociedad de la Justicia.

En esta nueva temporada aparecerán Pat (Luke Wilson), Sylvester Pemberton / Starman (Joel McHale), Johnny Thunder (Ethan Embry), Rex Tyler / Hourman (Lou Ferrigno Jr.) y Ted Grant / Wildcat (Brian Stapf), Eclipso (Nick Tarabay), Courtney / Stargirl (Brec Bassinger), Mike (Trae Romano), Icicle (Neil Jackson), y Barbara (Amy Smart)
